All these rabbit holes and dreams are short

Tales of Alice in wonderland still fascinate me. I think the idea is insane and I love it all the same.

The characters are intriguing.

I like the fact that Alice is curious about the new world she’s in.

I like the mad hatter and his crazy poetry.

The two fat boys tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum.

The bander-snatch, vorpal-sword and jabberwocky leave me with goosebumps.

But this article isn’t about them.

This article is about the concept of curiosity and where it takes us.

Many people are filled with a sense of curiosity about the way the world works.

How does this happen?

Why do we do things this way?

What happens if I do this any different?

What makes people do the things they do?

Asking these questions and figuring out the answers for ourselves can be an adventure perhaps just as intriguing as stumbling upon a wonderland tea-party.

Alice’s adventures start by chasing a coat-wearing rabbit holding a stopwatch down its hole.

This rabbit could represent opportunity, which is very time-dependent. According to one wise *Jesse Jagz* (bless him), “Opportunity, she might never come back again”.

So, we who are blessed with curiosity are left to chase her down those rabbit holes and get lost in her wonders forever … ?

Time!

The ticking stopwatch the rabbit carries is a constant reminder that every adventure comes to an end at some point.

So much to learn, so little time to do it.

Whatever you do, do it fast and move on to the next adventure.

Wonderland moves at its own pace and the rabbit will not wait for you, so paint those roses red faster folks.
